Business Network Exhibition Hall: Various Services for MSME entrepreneurs provided

At the Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition from February 10 to 14, the Business/Networking Exhibition Hall provided various services for MSME entrepreneurs. These services included international market networking, domestic market networking, investment connections, and One Stop Services from relevant ministries.

On February 10, the opening day of the exhibition, the domestic market networking was facilitated for eight MSME entrepreneurs from Bago, Magway, and Shan State (South). Their products were connected with retail businesses such as Gamonpwit, City Mart, ABC Convenience Store, Capital, G&G Store, Easy Mart & Maxi Whole Sale, Makro, Asia Light, and Gandamar.

For international market networking, three MSME entrepreneurs from Naypyitaw and Yangon, along with 16 commercial attachés, discussed exporting mango pulp/dried mango. They connected with Russia's Nibo con Bank for payment systems, explored odorless dried bamboo shoot production technology from China, and addressed issues related to GACC registration and import permits.

They also discussed obtaining FDA certification from Thailand and applying for Country of Origin at the Trade Department. For investment networking, 12 MSME entrepreneurs from Bago Region were connected with banks such as KBZ Bank, UAB Bank, and AYA Bank to secure investment funds.

The Intellectual Property Department addressed 21 MSME entrepreneurs regarding trademark registration, industrial designs, invention processes, and product applications. Officials responded to inquiries about trademark intellectual property rights and the requirements for trademark applications.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Department provided guidance to nine entrepreneurs from Yangon Region, Magway Region, Shan State, and Mandalay Region on FDA application requirements.

At the MyCO Desk of the Investment and Company Administration Directorate, seven MSME entrepreneurs consulted on various matters, including company registration via the Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO) system, annual reporting, director changes, and investment-related activities.

Representatives from TOA Point Myanmar Thilawa Co., Ltd, CPP Fertilizer Myanmar Thilawa Co., Ltd, Zifam Pyrex Co., Ltd, and Alidac Myanmar Co., Ltd, totaling seven individuals from the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, visited the exhibition. They explored regional MSME products and business networking booths, establishing connections with MSME businesses.
