Bus convoy honors child victims of gun violence

A mile long convoy of 52 school buses filled with personal memories of children killed in shootings visited Senator Ted Cruz's home and office today in Houston in US.Change the Ref is the organization leading the convoy.

The organization says the more than 4,000 empty bus seats represent children who have been killed in shootings this year alone.Inside the first bus are items, letters, drawings, and memories from school shooting victims from this year and years past.

The project is called "The NRA Children's Museum".Manuel Oliver, the father of Joaquin Oliver, who was killed in the school shooting Marjory Stoneman-Douglas High School in Parkland in 2018, is leading the effort.
