Buddha Life Story Paintings: To be placed at Maravijaya Buddha Park

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko inspected drawing of paintings to be placed at the shrines in the compound of Maravijaya Buddha Park, being established in Nay Pyi Taw.

The paintings are being drawn at the State School of Art (Mandalay) and the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay). The Union Minister stressed the needs to use quality materials for long term sustainability.

He called for time completion of the drawing of paintings with artistic works. The State High School of Art (Mandalay) is drawing 16 paintings while the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) takes responsibility for 24 paintings.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture is taking responsibility for drawing 96 acrylic paintings depicting the life of Buddha which will be placed at 24 shrines in the compound of Maravijaya Buddha Park in Nay Pyi Taw.
