







Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited Myanma Radio and Television (Pyinmana-Thapyay Taung Relay Station) in Pyinmana on Friday to oversee the recording and transmission processes.
During the inspection, official reported on the information of Pyinamana-Thapyay Taung relay facility, work processes of the Outdoor Production Division and PA (Public Address) services, installation of antennas on the tower by private transmitters and public stations, as well as the plan for constructing a staff housing.
In response to the reports, the Union Minister instructed the need to make cooperation and coordination in implementing the broadcasting services, providing accurate news to the public.
He then inspected the construction site of 2-storey staff housing, with the use of the capital fund of 2024-2025 fiscal year at the Pyinmana-Thapyay Taung Relay Station, the Up Link work process and FM-Radio DVB-T2 broadcast facilities. He then viewed round the staff housing and dormitories, fulfilled the requirements, and encouraged the basic-camera skills short course at the relay station.
