Bridging Hearts: China-Myanmar Paukphaw Friendship Storytelling Session

The 2024 China-ASEAN People-to-People Friendship Storytelling Session, "China-Myanmar Paukphaw Auspicious Speech," took place in Kunming, Yunnan on 27th April. As part of the China-ASEAN Year of People-to-People Exchanges in 2024, this storytelling session centered on the theme "My City, My Home," highlighting the Paukphaw friendship between China and Myanmar.
During the session, attendees from China and Myanmar shared stories about their hometowns. This storytelling session was jointly sponsored by the International Communication Development Center of China International Publishing Group and the Yunnan South Asia and Southeast Asia Regional International Communication Center.
Representatives from 9 media outlets in Myanmar, including MITV, The Global New Light of Myanmar, Myawaddy, Skynet TV, Vidya Media, Standard Time Daily, SweMyoPaukphaw Magazine, Golden Phoenix, and Monnect Group, along with relevant representatives from the International Communication Development Center of China International Publishing Group, Yunnan International Communication Center for South Asia and Southeast Asia, Yunnan University, Yunnan Normal University, and State Power Investment Yunnan Co., Ltd., attended the event and exchanged views.
