Bridge opening: Bago Region CM attended bridge opening ceremony

The Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win opened the PhaYaPhyu Creek crossing concrete bridge in OhBo Village-tract, MoeNyo Township, Bago Region on January 15 in the gesture of welcoming 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Union Day.

The chief minister gave a remark at the bridge opening ceremony followed by the extending words of thanks by a local and presenting gift commemorating the bridge opening ceremony by a director of rural road development department to the chief minister.

Then, the chief minister and officials opened the bridge by cutting ceremonial ribbon, posed for documentary group photo, walked on the newly opened bridge, presented cash for the entertainment groups and the rural health personnel, paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw of DiparAye HsuTaungPyae PhaYaGyi monastery and offered offertories and ‘Soon’ (day meal).

Afterward, the chief minister and party viewed the thriving of sunflower plantation in MaYinNge Village, inspected completion of fixing water gates at PanZan canal, at the top of old and new Mokkhar Creeks and instructed to educate the local people to pump irrigation water using the solar power instead of self-reliant engine power.
