Bridge Explosion: Terrorists target a bridge on Yangon-Mawlamyine Higyway

On the 17th of July, the KNLA and PDF terrorists exploded a 10 feet long and 40 feet wide concrete bridge on Yangon-Mawlamyine Pyidaungsu Higyway, located about 100 meter from Kayinlay Sate village in Thahton Township of Mon State.

Due to the explosion, the approach road from the norther side has completed destroyed. The terrorists committed the destructive acts, aiming to cut off transportation of the locals and damage the flow of goods, causing instability across the state.

Damaging the non-military targets is committing the War Crime. The departmental officials has constructed a temporary bridge rapidly for ensuring convenience crossing of people and vehicles, with plans underway for repairing works of the damaged bridge as soon as possible.
