Bridge construction: MoC Union Minister inspected bridge construction

The Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant together with the departmental officials inspected the construction site of Bala Min Htin Bridge (2) which is 3212 feet long on Mandalay-Lashio-Bamaw-Myitkyina Road on January 9.

First, the engineer-in charge of bridge construction project clarified the work implementations, facts about the bridge and work processes to be done and the union minister said the Bala Min Htin Bridge (2) which is vital on the border trade route was constructed for the convenience of road transportation for the people and instructed to meet the quality and standard and complete within the set time and inspected the construction site.

The Bala Min Htin Bridge (2) under being constructed in Myintkyina Township of Kachin State where the Ayeyarwady River, the life blood of the country originated, located on the trade route connected with China and India and will be truly beneficial.

Then, the union minister and party inspected the construction works of Nan Paung Airport bypass which is 8 miles and 3 furlongs constructing by Road Department in Myitkyina District, Kachin State.

Afterward, the union minister and party met with the service personnel of building, road, bridge and directorate of urban and housing development from Kyitkyina, Moe Hnyin, Bamaw, Puta-O, Chi-Phwe and Ta Nai Districts at the road department office in Myitkyina and gave necessary guidelines.

At the meeting, the directors from the directorates and departments serving the duties in Kachin State clarified the relevant work implementations and the union minister urged to put effort for the development of building, road, bridge, urban and housing, the difficulties in work and the personal obstacles can be submitted at any time openly with the family spirit and the coordinated necessaries in responding to the reports of the ministry’s personnel, it’s learnt.
