Bridge Collapse Killed Two in Southern Iraq

A section of a bridge under construction collapsed in southern Iraq late Saturday, killing two people and injuring several others, according to local authorities. Rescuers searched the site for more than 13 hours before concluding operations. The bridge gave way while concrete was being poured, with vehicles passing underneath at the time of the collapse.
