BRICS Leaders forum

Leaders of BRICS bloc of nations attended a business forum on Tuesday in Johannesburg summit where they were expected to boost their economies. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Indian prime minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin via videolink, Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva addressed the participants at the end of the business forum.

Brazilian President Lula insisted that the New Development Bank (NDB) is a milestone in the effective cooperation between developing economies, adding "the NDB must be a global leader in funding projects, addressing the biggest challenges of our times."
