In Gaza's Nuseirat, children learned breakdancing as part of "Breaking 48," a troupe formed to offer emotional support amid the conflict. Despite the dangers of airstrikes and limited resources, the group provided an outlet for children to relieve stress and escape the harsh realities of war.
The troupe trained in the streets, lacking a proper center and facing transportation challenges due to fuel shortages and closed crossings. Despite these obstacles, the goal remained clear: to provide a space for children to think positively, dream, and pursue breakdancing, sending a message of hope and resilience amid the ongoing conflict.
