Brazil's capital prepares for Lula's inauguration

Brazil's capital was getting ready for the inauguration of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Saturday. Thousands of supporters were arriving in the city for Lula's historic third inauguration, flooding the Ministries’ Esplanade with red shirts, hats and Lula flags.

The location, where the inauguration and its festivities will take part, has been heavily secured and fenced. Supporters also gathered in front of the hotel the President and government staff were staying at, cheering and celebrating.
