Brazilians in Tokyo cast vote in runoff election

Brazilian nationals in Japan lined up from the early hours of Sunday morning to vote in the presidential runoff between incumbent Jair Bolsonaro and challenger Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva from afar.

About 7,000 voters were expected to cast their ballots from Tokyo via an electronic voting system.Brazilian consulate staff and volunteers were on hand to ensure the voting process went smoothly.
