Borne meets the Presidents of Departmental Council and the Regional Council

During her visit to Reunion Island, one of French overseas territories, French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne talked with the Presidents of the Departmental Council and the Regional Council.

They discussed the State's financial commitments in terms of education and training and the challenges ahead for the people of Reunion. The Prime Minister also promised to "tackle" the "structural causes that make the cost of living more expensive in Reunion than in mainland France.
