Border Crossing: Myanmar-China border gates reopen

The entry and exist of Myanmar-China border in Nataw, SinPhyu and Mang Wein have been open at the same time starting from 4th September this year. Those who want to pass the border gates need border pass (BP) and temporary border pass (TBP).

Ngwe Moe ,Assistant Director ,Ministry of Immigration and Population said " Those living in Muse and Namkham townships can get BP starting from the afternoon of the 4th of September. We have been issuing BP for around 300 people per day. Temporary border pass (TBP) is for all Myanmar citizens – it costs 1,000 kyats including card fee and border pass fee. For the Chinese visitors with BPs, the pass fee is 500 kyats."

The visit and trade border gates between Myanmar and China were temporary closed since the end of March 2021 to control the spread of COVID-19 pandemic
