Boosting diplomatic ties: PM receives Russian Chief Justice

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation Mr. Vyacheslav Lebedev at the SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday morning.

On the occasion, they discussed and exchanged views on progress of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Russia, boosting cooperation in legal and judiciary affairs, plans to study laws by Myanmar legal experts in Russia and multi-sectoral cooperation between the two countries.

After the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Russian Chief Justice exchanged commemorative gifts. Also present at the call together with the Prime Minister were Joint Secretary of the SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Chief Justice U Tun Tun Oo, Union Minister for Legal Affairs Dr Thida Oo, Russian delegates and officials of Russian Embassy in Myanmar.
