Boosting Collaboration: Meeting with Chinese delegation

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs U Than Swe held a bilateral meeting with Assistant Minister of Public Security of China Mr. Liu Zhongyi and Ambassador of China to Myanmar Ms. Ma jia at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

At the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further consolidating of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations, continue implementation of bilateral cooperation projects between the two countries, promoting of legal cooperation to jointly crack down trans-border crimes, boosting collaboration between the relevant departments to combat online gambling and telecommunication fraud networks along the border areas, strengthening tri-lateral cooperation between Myanmar, China and Thailand including cooperation with regional and international community and maintenance of peace and stability along the Myanmar-China borders.
