Bolivia is currently facing severe flooding due to unusually heavy rains, leading President Luis Arce to declare a national emergency on March 26.

The floods have resulted in over 50 fatalities and displaced more than 100,000 people across all nine of Bolivia's departments.

The village of Tipuani in western Bolivia has been submerged for two months, highlighting the prolonged nature of this disaster. In response, the government has mobilized thousands of military personnel to assist in rescue operations and aid distribution.

Additionally, Congress is expected to approve a $75 million loan from the CAF Development Bank to support disaster relief efforts.
