Bogota bridges demolished in Puente Aranda to make way for new mega-intersection

The Puente Aranda bridges in southwest Bogota have been demolished on Sunday, marking the start of construction on a new three-level road intersection. Bogota Mayor Carlos Fernando Galan said "this is the starting point for that new Calle 13, which will obviously be one of the most important roads in Colombia in terms of logistics".
