Boao Forum for Asia 2025 Opens Focused on Global Growth and Innovation

The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) 2025 Annual Conference opened in Boao, Hainan Province, on Tuesday, with nearly 2,000 attendees from over 60 countries. 

The four-day event focuses on global trends, growth, and AI-driven innovation. The conference covers topics like trust, inclusive development, Sustainable Development Goals, and AI. Two reports were released, highlighting Asia’s role as a key global growth engine, especially in green technologies. 

Despite economic uncertainties, Asia’s growth is projected at 4.5% for 2025, with increasing global economic influence. Founded in 2001, the Boao Forum fosters dialogue on economic, social, and environmental issues to support Asia’s sustainable development.
