Blinken, Yi hold bilateral meeting in Indonesia

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a bilateral meeting in Indonesia.

The two ministers spoke of their joint commitment to improving relations between their two countries. Blinken said he was "much looking forward to a productive and constructive conversation," while Yi said both countries should "adhere to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation, which were put forward by President Xi", which he said were "consistent with the interests of people in both countries, and is in accordance with the expectations of the international community."
