Blinken speaks after meeting Peru president and FM

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday met with Peruvian President Pedro Castillo and held a joint briefing with Foreign Minister.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 52nd General Assembly of the Organization of American States in Lima. Blinken underscored the importance of his meetings in Peru, saying development issues and the cooperation agenda between the two countries were discussed. Blinken's Latin American tour ends in Peru, and he is expected to return to the United States on Friday.
