US Secretary of State Antony Blinkensaid that he wants to make sure the conflict in the Middle East "doesn't spread", as he held meetings in Turkiye and Greeceduring his fourth Middle Easttour.

Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State said  "And a big part of the conversation over the coming days with all of our allies and partners is looking at the steps they can take, using the influence and ties that they have, to do just that, to make sure this conflict doesn't spread.

Second, we'll be looking at what we can do to maximise the protection for civilians, maximise humanitarian assistance getting into them and also getting hostages out of Gaza. " The Secretary emphasized the need to prevent the conflict from spreading during his talks with Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdogan earlier Saturday.
