Blinken meets Israeli opposition leader Lapid

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Israel’s opposition leader Yair Lapid in Jerusalem.Blinken arrived during one of the deadliest periods of fighting in years in the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem.

Blinken is expected to meet later with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.
