BIMSTEC Business Summit: Myanmar delegation attended the event in New Delhi

Aiming to foster greater regional collaboration through robust trade and investment relations among the member countries, India hosted the BIMSTEC Business Summit in New Delhi of India from August 6th to 8th.

Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Commerce U Min Min participated in the summit. The opening ceremony of the summit took place on August 6th, with the attendance of Indian Deputy Minister of External Affairs Pabitra Margherita.

The Plenary Session of the summit was held on August 7th, where the Deputy Minster made a speech, together with the participants from India, Nepal, Thailand, Bhutan and the BIMSTEC Secretariat. The Summit was held under the five major sectors, with the participation of representatives from each member country. The delegation led by the Deputy Minister arrived back in Yangon on Friday.
