Bill Gates meets Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba in Tokyo

Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba Tuesday received Bill Gates, the chair of the Gates Foundation and co-founder of Microsoft, in Tokyo.

Bill Gates, Chairman, the Gates Foundation said "We've talked about the work we've done together and the key global health activities, with Bobby, with Global Fund, and the kind of innovation taking place in Japan."

During the meeting, Ishiba and Gates discussed "key global health activities" and the "innovations taking place in Japan". Gates also expressed his desire to continue working closely with Japan in future cooperation. Both sides shared their views to continue close coordination.
