Bilateral Ties: Deputy Prime Minister receives Sri Lankan delegation

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received the Sri Lankan delegation led by Tharaka Balasuriya, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on Tuesday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations, expansion of the mutually beneficial cooperation including trade and investment, agriculture and education sectors between the two countries, as well as continued cooperation in rendering consular assistance for Sri Lankan nationals in Myanmar.
