Bilateral Ties: Commemorating and Welcoming Events in Mandalay

On September 26th, a dual ceremony was held at the Mingalar Mandalay Hotel in Chanmyathazi Township, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and to formally welcome Ms. Gao Ping, the Chinese Consul-General in Mandalay.

The event was attended by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, alongside high-ranking officials and distinguished guests. The ceremony commenced with the national Anthems of China and Myanmar. Then, a video clip highlighting the bilateral ties between the two countries was screened.

Following this, the Consul-General delivered a congratulatory speech in honor of the PRC’s 75th anniversary. The Chief Minister also offered a congratulatory speech, extending wishes for peace, prosperity and ongoing advancement for China.
