Bilateral Talks: State Counsellor Meets Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi who is currently in Japan to attend the Enthronement Ceremony for His Majesty Emperor Naruhito, held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the State Guest House in Akasaka Palace on Monday morning.

On the occasion, they discussed promoting bilateral relations and cooperation.

Also present at the meeting were Union Minister for Office of the State Counsellor U Kyaw Tint Swe, Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Set Aung, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs U Soe Han, Myanmar Ambassador to Japan U Myint Thu and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
