Bilateral Relations : Union Minister for Industry receives Indian Ambassador

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than received a delegation led by Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Vinay Kumar at the Ministry of Industry on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they exchange views on boosting bilateral relations and industry sector development between the two countries including supporting techniques and training for the development of human resources of in-service civil servants at the large scale factories such as steel, textile, and pharmaceutical which are operating  under the Ministry, sending Myanmar scholars to factories, workshops and institutes in India for the development of MSMEs businesses, providing technical training for the teachers from industrial training schools supported by the India Government, and issues related to supporting the formulation of national steel policy.
