Bilateral Relations: SAC Chairman receives Russia delegation

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a Russian delegation led by Chairman of the External Relations Committee, member of St. Petersburg Government Mr. Grigoriev Evgeny Dmitrievich at the State Administration Council Office in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters on promoting the bilateral relations and cooperation, enhancing collaboration in education, health, tourism and other sectors, exchange programs in higher-level education and preparations to open the consular offices in Russia.

They also exchanged views on fostering sister cities between St. Petersburg area and Myanmar, cultural and religious exchange programs, and promoting trade and tourism between Myanmar and Russia.
