Bilateral Relations: SAC Chairman receives Indian Ambassador

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of India to Myanmar Mr. Abhay Thakur at his office in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters on friendly relations between the two countries, bilateral cooperation, upholding peace in border areas, development activities, direct flight operation, promoting trade, sending scholars and cooperation in defence measures. They also exchanged views on current political affairs in Myanmar and arrangements for the successfully holding of multiparty democratic general elections.
