Bilateral Relations: SAC Chairman meets Indian Ambassador to Myanmar

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Vinay Kumar who will return to India after completing his tour of duty in Myanmar at the SAC Chairman’s office in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday morning.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters on pertaining bilateral relations, cooperation in trade, economic and investment sectors, iron and cotton production and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The meeting also focused on promotion of friendly military cooperation between the two countries, providing health assistance for Myanma Tatmadaw and people, fostering peace and stability in border areas, Myanmar’s progress on its path to democracy and arrangements for successful holding of multiparty democratic general elections in Myanmar.
