Bilateral Relations: Prime Minister welcomes Russian Ambassador

Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the credentials of the newly accredited ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov at his office in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the occasion, they discussed matters related to the ongoing progress of bilateral diplomatic relations and friendship, humanitarian assistance, cultural affairs, academic matters, and promoting multilateral cooperation in economic, tourism, and other sectors. The discussions included topics such as reciprocal visits of state-level and union-level officials, direct flight services, efforts to achieve lasting peace in Myanmar, current political developments, and the Tatmadaw's commitment to strengthening the multiparty democracy system.
