Bilateral Relations: Myanmar delegation returns from 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum

The Myanmar delegation, led by member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, and Union Minister for Defence, Admiral Tin Aung San, returned to Yangon on November 1st after attending the 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum at the invitation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
During their stay in China on October 29th, the delegation engaged in a bilateral meeting with Vice Chairman of the Chinese Central Military Commission, General Zhang Youxia.
Their discussions centered on matters related to strengthening bilateral "Pauk Phaw" relations, providing assistance for the peace process in Myanmar, ensuring security and stability in border areas, deepening strategically reciprocal trust, fostering cooperation in various sectors, and enhancing high-level relations between the two armies.
On October 30th, the delegation participated in the opening ceremony of the 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, during which General Zhang Youxia delivered an opening speech. They also took part in a panel discussion covering topics such as "Major Countries' Responsibility and Global Security Cooperation," "The Role of Developing Countries in Global Security," and "ASEAN Centrality in Regional Security Cooperation Architecture."
On October 31st, the delegation attended a discussion on "Jointly Implementing the Global Security Initiatives for Lasting Peace and Security of the World" at the Beijing International Convention Center (BICC). In the afternoon, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the Myanmar Embassy in Beijing and met with the staff and their family members.
