Bilateral relations: CGS received Indian Ambassador

State Administration Council member Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye received the delegation led by Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E Mr. Abhay Thakur at the reception hall of Bayint Naung Yeik Thar in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday afternoon. 

During their meeting, both sides discussed matters on strengthening friendship and bilateral relations between the two armies,acceleration of the implementation for the development of security issues and stability and peace of the border areas of two countries, defense matters, sending trainees, military cooperation and joint exercises.

After the meeting, State Administration Council member Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and Indian Ambassador to Myanmar took a documentary photo with attendees. The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Office of the Commander In Chief of Defence Services and the Senior officials of India Armed Forces accompanied by Indian Military Attaché Colonel Jaswinder Singh Gill.
