Bilateral Relation: VP Paid Courtesy Call To Indonesian President

The Vice President U Henry Van Thio who was in Indonesia arrived at the presidential palace in Jakarta of Indonesia at 7:45 PM local time and paid a courtesy call to the president Joko Widodo on Sunday.

Next, the vice president arrived at the vice presidential palace and met with the vice president Mr. Ma’ruf Amin .

At the meeting, acceleration of bilateral relation and cooperation, strengthening existing friendship between the two countries, continuation of providing humanitarian assistance by the ASEAN community and the collaboration of bilateral trade, economy, investment and education sectors were cordially discussed.

Together with the vice president, the union minister for social welfare, relief and resettlement Dr. Win Myat Aye, Myanmar Ambassador to Indonesia Daw Ei Ei Khin Aye, Myanmar Permanent representative to ASEAN U Min Lwin and responsible officials and together with the Indonesian president and vice president, ministers, deputy ministers and high ranking officials attended the meeting.
