Bilateral Cooperation : Receiving the Ambassador-designate of Pakistan

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr. Tariq Karim, Ambassador-designate of Pakistan at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. During the meeting, the Union Minister congratulated Mr. Tariq Karim on his appointment as the Ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar.

They discussed matters relating to enhancement of existing friendly ties and bilateral cooperation in mutually beneficial areas including trade, agriculture, tourism, people-to-people contacts and capacity building.
