Bilateral cooperation: MoEP Union Minister received Russian delegation

The Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han received a delegation led by Vice-President of the Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation Mr Anatoly Bulochnikov at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 AM on 26th April.

At meeting, both sides discussed the matters on the status of sector-wise success as the results of 75 longs years friendship and cooperation between Russian and Myanmar, Russian’s assistances provided for the development of electric power sector since in the past, the study tours to the renewable energy and thermal energy used electric power plants and forming the coordination groups, the prospects of cooperation in hydro electric power projects from the sources  in Myanmar and the opportunities to collaborate with the domestic private companies.
