Bilateral Cooperation : Meeting with the Belarusian Foreign Minister

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Tin Maung Swe met with  Belarusian Foreign Minister Mr. Maxim Ryzhenkov in Minsk on August 21. The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in tractor production, optical radar technology, the exchange of embassy buildings or land and the opening of a Belarusian Embassy in Myanmar.

They also discussed facilitating air travel following the implementation of the visa-free regime and improving cooperation in tourism. The Union Minister also urged Belarusian side to formally submit its requests to Myanmar, pledging full cooperation to address them.
