Bilateral cooperation: MCRD UM received Ambassador of Russian Federation

The Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe received Ambassador of Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Iskander Azizov at the office No (16) in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on Tuesday.

At the meeting, the matters on the rights of signing MoC for the economic and technical cooperation to implement Foliar Spray Fertilizer factory mutually collaborated by the Roscongress Investment Fund of Russian Federation and Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, providing Russian sunflower seeds to be able to conduct trial plantation of 90,000 acres of sunflower and acceleration of bilateral friendship and cooperation were discussed.

In the evening, the Union Minister and officials watched the 2024 Union Minister’s Trophy Men Football Competition of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development held at No (6) Basic Education High School in Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.

After the concluding of third place play-off and final match, the prize awarding ceremony was held and the Directors General, Permanent Secretary, Deputy Minister U Myit Soe awarded the medals, trophy of honor and cash prizes for the best players at the relevant places, third prize winner team of the Department of Rural Development and second prize winner team of Department of Small-Scale Industries.

Next, the Union Minister U Hla Moe awarded the individual medals, cash prizes and championship trophy to the University of Cooperatives and Management (Sagaing), it’s learnt.
