Bilateral Cooperation: DPM received Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, received H.E. Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, at 9 AM on 27th August, 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further consolidation of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations and implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, China’s consistent support towards peace and sustainable social-economy development for Myanmar.

Both sides also exchanged views on closer collaboration in regional and international arena, especially ASEAN and the United Nations.
