Biden meets Ukraine refugees in Warsaw

U.S. President Joe Biden met Ukrainian refugees at humanitarian centre in Warsaw on Saturday alongside Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Biden has previously praised the support for refugees given by Poland which has taken in more than 2 million of the 3.5 million people fleeing Ukraine. The U.S. has been sending money and supplies to aid the refugee effort.

This week, Biden announced $1 billion in additional aid and said the U.S. would accept up to 100,000 refugees.
