Better Transprotation : New Road opened in Myitkyina

A new concrete road was commissioned into service in Naung Nan Village of Myitkyina Township in Kachin State on 3rd February.

Constructed by Rural Road Development Department, the 355 meter long new facility was opened to commemorate the 77th anniversary Union Day. Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan attended the opening ceremony, and cut the ceremonial ribbob together with the officials. The new Naung Nan-8 miles- Lamyan- 10 miles road connects three villages in the area, and plans are underway to continue construction of 3 furlongs long section.
