Better Transportation: Transportation facilities in Mandalay Region inspected

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo inspected the durability of rail road in Mandalay Region.

On March 6th, the Union Minister took a train ride from Nay Pyi Taw to Mandalay and instructed the officials to make constant checking for ensuring durability of the rail road.

On the 7th, the Union Minister visited Myit Nge Carriage and Wagon Factory, and urged officials for systematic maintenance of the facility, along with the efforts for upgrading measures.

On arrival at the Ani Sakhan Airport in Pyin Oo Lwin, the Union Minister heard reports on progress of construction works and gave instruction for timely completion of the project, meeting the set standard. They then proceeded to Pyin Oo Lwin Railway Station, and oversaw the beautifying works.

On the 8th, the Union Minister and party inspected the progress of Samon River Crossing Bridge construction, and urged officials to complete the tasks within the time frame and to meet the set standards. They then left for Thazi Railway Station by RBE train, and made inspection in the station yard.
