Better Transportation: Opening ceremony of new asphalt concrete road

A new asphalt concrete road was opened in Loikaw to commemorate the 73th Kayah State Day. Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin attended the opening ceremony and made a speech, saying that the construction of such high-quality road in kayah State contributes to the smooth and better commuting for local people, enhancing the characteristics of the city.

He urged all to maintain the regional development activities for long term sustainability. This was followed by the formal opening of the new facility, and entertainment programs by the performance troupes. Next, the Chief Minister provided honourary award and toured along the new asphalt concrete road.

This new road benefits to over 117,000 residents from 23 wards and 111 villages, providing convenient and smooth transportation. Over four furlongs long new road was constructed with the budget allotment of the Kayah State Government in 2024-2025 fiscal year.
