Better Health Facility : New Rural Health Branch opened in Naungcho

A new building for the Nyan Taw Rural Health Branch in Naungcho Township, Northern Shan State, was opened on August 22. The facility, originally established in 2013, serves over 2,500 local residents from 582 households in four villages.

The new building, funded in the 2023–2024 fiscal year, was completed in March 2024, but its opening was delayed due to local conflict. Now, peace has returned to the area, and health services will resume in the new facility to better serve the local ethnic communities.
