From 2008 to 2012, the benefit sharing of using songs was through paperwork and from 2012 to 2017 with computerized system. But it lead to some artists of not receiving their charges yet. That’s why in 2018, we thought to reform the process.”

As the technologies come to vital in this age, the Myanmar Music Association and other related persons from music industry take in charge of choosing the winning tender.

There are many reasons why we let people from music industry to participate in choosing tender process like for further more opportunities, releasing the decentralization and transparency. And this move will be good not only for artistes but also for the government through tax as well.”
