Beijing launches ice, snow season

The 14th Bird's Nest Happy Ice and Snow Season opened at Beijing's National Stadium on Saturday and will run until mid-February. The event features over 10 attractions, including the 2,200-square-meter "Snow Circle Plaza."

During the Spring Festival Holiday, the venue will stay open until 21:00. A "one-for-all pass" has been introduced for easier access to all activities. The festival, which has attracted more than 2.4 million visitors in past editions, promotes the sustainable use of Olympic venues and the growth of ice and snow sports.
