Basic Scout Training: Chief Minister attends opening ceremony in Monywa

Organized by the Sagaing Region Government, opening ceremony of a basic scout training course was held at the public stadium in Monywa with the attendance of Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and many other officials as well as trainers and trainees.

The ceremony was opened with “Pyithu Atwet Asinthint” song performance by the trainees. On the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of human resources and natural resources for the development of the nation, the role of education sector and the purposes of conducting scout trainings.

And, the Regional Minister for Social Affairs U Saw Naing provided 1 million kyats for the trainees. The training joined by 68 trainees is to take place from the 4th to the 8thof May.
